Pictures say so much more....

Our new Drift wood..... It took two tow trucks and a bob cat to recover it from the river bank, only to discover it was even heavier then we though as our tractor can't move it to were we planned to put it. We planned to cut the long piece in two, but i am hoping our neighbour will move the other piece for us.
Getting ready to make magic.....
Moving half of it to the back yard.....
The start of our new fire pit seating...
Sabina has a new bike......
Junes bike is all put together and ready, but she is still having a little trouble getting the hang of it.
Autumn also got a new bike for her 13th birthday, but everyone ate it on her.....
June turned 7....
We had a great easter with our first outdoor easter egg hunt in years......

The G is back now, rebuilt and ready to prove itself......

We are ready to start seeding any day as it looks like the weather is warming up again this week. I am sure there are many things i am forgetting about but it's hard when you only post every two months.

Snow Snow Snow....

So the post office pick up slips are starting to show up, the seed orders are arriving and for some reason it is always to exciting to open the boxes to see seeds.( Its not like it is even a surprise, we ordered them) But maybe it is the hope of new life and a sucessful year that makes it feel so good.

We really haven't had much lazy time this winter, and the repairs that need doing for summer time are slow in getting done, but with the forecast looking warmer this weekend i plan to take on our ditch. It has about a ten foot drift over it and goes for a couple hundred feet, i need to clean it out because the water from our yard wants to flow that way but it will all back up if this drift is there, i would almost be willing to leave it this year but with how wet our fall was i really don't want to risk it.

We went to look at some snow sculptures one afternoon, but other then that weekends have been busy and haven't even had any wiener roasts this winter as the weekends have been quite cool all year. Maybe in the next week or two.

Where does it all come from?????

Well we had two very productive days friday night we cleaned up one really weedy section of field, then saturday got half the white pumpkins cleaned up and a large chunk of another section done. Then we were chased in by the rain at super time, we ate and watched a massive downpour, i felt so good about everything we had worked up and loosen from the 3 weeks of wetness we have had here.

Woke up to the sun this morning, and figured by tonight i would be able to walk the field to see how everything was looking, only to see the darkest clouds come rolling over the house. And then mother nature show me once again who really is in charge!!!!!!

So now it's off to town for some groceries and a then cook a nice super and a relaxing movie with my family. Sounds good to me!!!!
