The trailer sits ready to go once more
Lights shine in the dark off in the distance
As hunters arrive hoping to shot a goose today
The cold works though my rubberboots
As the snow crunches under my step
the year winding up, only 2 days to go
Mother Nature has blessed us all October
But has humble me once again.

Thankful for so many things....

We have had many changes and challenges in the last year. But we have work though them and pushed on, and as i watch my kids and wife and what we do together, how can i not be thankful.

So with the field almost dry, and will hopefully be able to get disc'ing it this week. And start some serious drainage work to prevent another year like this one.

Time to put my pumpkin pie in the oven.
